15th World Congress of Bioethics 2020 On-Campus Housing Registration
Thank you for your interest in applying for short term accommodations at the University of Pennsylvania.This registration is for:
- Attendees of the 15th World Congress of Bioethics. The International Association of Bioethics’ 2020 World Congress of Bioethics will take place from June 19, 2020 through June 21st, 2020 at the University of Pennsylvania. As usual, the Feminist Approaches to Bioethics (FAB) will meet before the IAB, also at the University of Pennsylvania,June 17, 2020 through June 18, 2020.
- You must be 18 years of age or older
Please note that if you register for housing using this site prior to January 31st 2020 you will not be charged or required to submit payment during this registration, you will be sent an invoice showing your balance due in February 2020. The invoice will reflect your full accommodation balance, and TempCard (access card) payment due. You will also receive instructions prompting you to log back in using this link and your username and password. Payment will be made via credit card only, Your total balance due will be based on your total number of nights; the rate is $86.63 per person per night. This price includes 15.5% occupancy tax and a linen pack.
There is a 3 night minimum stay requirement. Housing is offered starting Tuesday, June 16th 2020 and is available until Monday, June 22nd 2020. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Your credit card will be processed using our secure PCI compliant credit card processing system. By checking the box below you are agreeing to adhere to the Policies & Procedures, as well as the Occupancy Agreement. Links to these documents can be found to the right.

Occupancy Agreement
Submission of an application for summer housing implies agreement on your part with the terms specified in the
Occupancy Agreement and Policies and Procedures in the Residential Handbook. Please read both documents carefully prior to completing this application. There is a link provided to access the Occupancy Agreement and Residential Handbook once you begin your registration.
Summer Assignments
Summer room assignments are not released in advance; you will receive your summer assignment upon check-in. You will be sent an email 1 week prior to your arrival with your summer housing building address.
Cancellations and Reservation Adjustments
All cancellations and reservation adjustments must be made in writing to
bsd-confsvcs@pobox.upenn.edu.
As stated in the Occupancy Agreement, the cancellation fees are as follows:
- Cancellation 21 days or less prior to scheduled move-in date: $375.00
- No show or cancel on scheduled move-in date: $550.00
